Club Development Officer
Hannah is a self confessed hockey addict; from her work to playing it regularly. As a keen hockey player who has always been connected to the hockey family, this is the main reason why she has so much passion for her role.
The main focus of Hannah’s role is to support and develop clubs to ensure sustainability and opening opportunities for them based on their priorities. In order to fulfil the role, Hannah will engage with external contributors to clubs including delivery partners and educational institutions as well as supporting the regional workforce: coaches, umpires, Young Ambassadors and volunteers.
When Hannah has some spare time away from hockey you’ll find her spending time with her family,
walking the dogs, exploring new places and looking for new experiences and opportunities.
Club Development Officer - South West Wales
A retired hockey player but still very much an avid lover of all sport. Amanda has been working in Sports Development for over 15 years and started working for Hockey Wales in 2002, left the organisation for a while, and came back to Hockey in 2012. Amanda has an amazing little family with a few Welsh Caps between herself and her ex-professional rugby player partner. She has more though!
Club Development Officer - Mid Wales
Based across Wales, Adam is responsible for the development of all things hockey in Mid-Wales. Having studied Sports development at Undergraduate and Masters Degree level, Adam’s a huge advocate for encouraging children to play sport from a young age.
During his time with Hockey Wales so far, he’s been involved in some really exciting projects such as the North Wales Men’s Summer 7s, managing the Hoci Hero Volunteer Programme for the Women’s European Hockey Championships and developing a Schools Programme to encourage children to transition from schools to clubs.
Club Development Officer - North Wales
Based in our North Wales office, Tom is responsible for the development of hockey in North Wales and is keen to work with anybody who has an interest in the sport to help it develop and grow throughout the region. Tom’s previous role was at the University of Chester where he was a big advocate for team and recreational sport, before joining Hockey Wales and being a part of exciting projects such as the North Wales Men’s Summer 7s and the Eirias Park Hockey Hub.
