360˚ centres are the starting point of the Hockey Wales Player Pathway. The 360˚ programme is an essential component of our talent development system, that helps support and develop talented athletes to achieve their potential with Wales. Players enter the 360˚ pathway from club or school hockey, via self-nominations and from there can be nominated through to 360˚ Aspire when the Head Coach feels they are ready to progress. Players are developed holistically within the programme ensuring we assist them in technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development on a regular basis. The 360˚ programme provides players for the National Age Group Squads (NAGS) via nominations from 360˚ Aspire centres. It is compulsory for all NAG players to attend a 360˚ Aspire centre. Players can progress through the pathway in either direction, depending on what is best for their development, at any given time.

Goalkeeper Provision

Following a review the approach taken to goalkeeper specialist sessions will be slightly different this year. The new approach will see a specialist goalkeeper coach employed to deliver sessions with goalkeepers within the current framework, which will enable more athletes to access specialist coaching within their home centre.

Each centre will receive 3 visits through the programme in the following format.
